Antonieta “Tonie” Leal is an associate at Stream Kim, serving as trusted counsel to clients across diverse industries in matters involving general business litigation, probate litigation, and real estate litigation. She collaborates closely with clients to understand their priorities and minimize the impact of litigation.
Before joining Stream Kim, Tonie practiced at a law firm in Ontario, California, where she focused on probate matters such as will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary breaches, trust administration, and estate planning. She also served as Associate General Counsel for a multi-state corporation, where she negotiated and ensured compliance with high stakes contracts involving a wide range of entities including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and municipalities, advising on matters related to safety, environmental risk, insurance, intellectual property, indemnity, and employment law.
Tonie earned her Global Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Award for excellence in Professional Responsibility. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Yacambu in Venezuela and has been a licensed attorney with the Venezuela National Bar Association since 2016. A native of Venezuela, Tonie is fluent in Spanish.
